Sr. Director of Development

Theresa Valentino brings over three decades of dedicated experience in nonprofit advancement, fundraising, and strategic planning and partnerships to her role as Senior Director of Development for the Seena Magowitz Foundation. She channels this expertise into spearheading efforts to deepen donor engagement and amplify the Foundation’s vision of a world where pancreatic cancer is a chronic, treatable disease. A dynamic nonprofit executive with more than 30 years of leadership experience spanning health care, education and human services, Theresa has successfully raised over $100 million to support vital missions by leading major capital campaigns, expanding donor engagement and strengthening organizational impact. 

Guided by a deep passion for service and the loss of two people close to her to pancreatic cancer, Theresa approaches her work with integrity, collaboration and creativity. She spearheads impactful initiatives by uniting donors, volunteers and community leaders, using storytelling to drive support through innovative outreach, thoughtful donor engagement and programs aligned with the Seena Magowitz vision. Theresa holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Seton Hall University and is a graduate of Leadership New Jersey. She also actively engages in professional development and board service, including roles with Josephine’s Garden Foundation, Forgotten Warriors Vietnam Museum of Cape May, NJ, Heartillery Group, and the Brothers of the Christian Schools District of Eastern North America. She is honored to be part of a team that brings hope, raises awareness and helps drive critical funding for targeted clinical trials and therapies that can change the future of pancreatic cancer.
