Ken Pollack was a passionate baseball fan who lost his battle to pancreatic cancer in late 2022. Babbo means “daddy’ in Italian and Ken was that leading figure to his loved-ones and to his restaurant staff.
“If you give, you will get, and likewise if you get, your should give” was my Dad’s quote. This event is the perfect way for us to honor his legacy and live by his motto said his daughter, Taylor Schultz who is also the Babbo Italian Eateries’ Marketing Director.
Pancreatic cancer is the third-leading cause of cancer-related deaths with the lowest 5-year survival rate of 12%. The Seena Magowitz Foundation funds pilot clinical trials seeking innovative life-saving and life-extending pancreatic cancer treatments. It creates mass awareness about pancreatic cancer and ways to help avoid getting this brutal disease. Its ultimate vision is finding a cure to defeat pancreatic cancer.
