About Wendy Hammers

For more than 40 years, Wendy Hammers built a career as an actor, comedian, and performer, appearing on stage, television, and film. She played a rattled airline ticket agent with Larry David on Curb Your Enthusiasm, was featured on The Oprah Winfrey Show as a comic, and toured the country performing stand-up comedy for three decades.

At age 54, Wendy faced her most challenging role yet, becoming a pancreatic cancer patient. More than ten years later, she is thriving and dedicated to sharing what she has learned. Through her Drop In & Write Classes & Coaching, Wendy leads weekly writing sessions, offers private coaching, and hosts immersive writing retreats around the world.

Wendy discovered firsthand the powerful role writing can play in healing and recovery, and she now helps others uncover their own insights and “A-ha” moments through the simple act of putting pen to paper.

For this special SMF session, all you need to bring is yourself, your willingness to grow, and something to write on.
