With more than a decade of experience in sports, tourism and marketing under her belt, Alena Hicks has built her career on creating experiences that connect communities and drive meaningful impact and results. She has developed and supported major initiatives for organizations, including the NCAA Men’s Final Four, the Arizona Office of Tourism, The Cactus League Baseball Association and The Arizona Lodging & Tourism Association. Meticulously organized, self-driven and communicative, Alena brings more than 12 years of conference-planning experience to the Seena Magowitz Foundation, including orchestrating the Arizona Governor’s Conference on Tourism, among other major industry events. 

Based in Arizona, Alena’s work spans partnerships with professional sports organizations, destination marketing leaders and statewide campaigns that celebrate the people and places that make Arizona unique. Upon meeting Roger Magowitz and the Seena Magowitz Foundation team, Alena was inspired by their passion and purpose. She joined their mission eager to make a lasting difference, applying her event expertise to grow awareness, strengthen partnerships and advance fundraising for pancreatic cancer research and patient support. Alena’s approach is rooted in collaboration, heart and executional excellence, transforming ideas into experiences that inspire hope and enduring change.
