WARRIORS WHO HAVE REACHED THE 5-YEAR MARK AND WELL BEYOND
Not too long ago, reaching the average 5-year+ survival rate for pancreatic cancer patients was a dismal 3%. Today that average rate has grown to about 10% (2022). However, pancreatic cancer still claims the highest mortality rate of all major cancers. It is now the third leading cause of cancer-related deaths in the United States trailing only lung and colorectal cancers.
The following pancreatic cancer patients have defied the odds and reached the 5-Year Milestone and well beyond. Many have exceeded upwards of 20-years.
If you have reached the 5-Year Mark and beyond, you can inspire other pancreatic cancer patients to sustain hope and to fight valiantly to defeat this dreadful disease by adding your name to this list. Our goal is to grow this list to hundreds and hundreds and even more to give newly diagnosed patients with pancreatic cancer the inspiration to keep believing.
